How do I find out if your site is infected?
1. The resource is blocked by an antivirus or an Internet browser;
2. There have been drastic changes in the statistical indexing parameters of the server or search engine;
3. The site is on Google's blacklist or another database of unwanted addresses;
4. The site is not working properly, errors and warnings are displayed;
5. The site code contains questionable text.
The most common sources or causes of infection:
1. Using virus software to steal credentials, access to FTP, hosting, or the site's control panel;
2. Weak components on popular CMS platforms such as Joomla, Wordpress, bitrix, osCommerce;
3. Brute force-cracking a password using brute force.
Now we know that the site may be infected through your fault or the efforts of third-party "good people".
