Whois - это сервис, позволяющий проверить любой домен второго уровня, чтобы узнать контактные данные администратора (владельца) домена.
В результате проверки пользователь может в том или ином случае получить следующую информацию о владельце домена: имя/название компании, адрес, контактный e-mail, номер телефона, а также контактную информацию для административных и технических вопросов.
